Biography
Christopher Koroneos is a chemical engineer. He holds the position of Mayor in the Municipality of the Greek Island Nisyros, He did all his studies at the Department of Chemical Engineering of Columbia University in New York, USA, where he later was a professor and continues to be associated with the Earth Engineering Center as a Research Associate. Now he is Associate Professor having the chair of Renewable Energy and Energy Management at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Western Macedonia in Greece. He is also at the Unit of Environmental Science and Technology of the Department of Chemical Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens and the Laboratory of Heat Transfer and Environmental Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He is teaching at the Interdisciplinary Programme of Post Graduate Studies ‘‘Environment & Development’’ of the National Technical University of Athens and at the Hellenic Open University. His research interests are in Renewable Energy, Exergy Analysis, Life Cycle Assessment and Sustainable Development. He has more than 80 publications in Scientific Journals and more than 200 publications in proceedings of International conferences. He is in the editorial committee of 35 scientific journals, and he has participated in 37 national and international research projects.

Biography
Professor Zizi Abdeen is an Egyptian national. She is a researcher Professor in polymer lab. Petrochemicals dep, Egyptian Petroleum Research Institute. She completed her PhD & M.Sc. degrees in Polymer Chemistry from Ain Shams University, (Egypt), where she also completed her B.Sc., Degree in Chemistry, Faculty of Sciences, Cairo University, (Egypt). She main stream research is at the frontier of materials/polymer science and emerging fields such as nanotechnology/nanocomposites. She has a keen interest in the development of intelligent materials based on bio resources such as chitosan and starch through chemical modification and advanced biotechnology processes. He is author of over 27 articles on polymers, biomaterials, hydrogels and nano composites systems and reviewer of over 15 International journals and a member of the Advisory Editorial Board of Polymers and Biomaterials in different International journals. She was sharing as technical committee in more than five international conferences

Biography
Martin Masuelli is a scientist at Instituto de FÃsica Aplicada – CONICET – UNSL, San Luis, Argentina. He holds a master’s degree and PhD thesis in Membrane Technology from National University of San Luis (UNSL). He is Coordinator of Physics Chemistry Area and Director of Physics Chemistry Service Laboratory, UNSL. He is expert in polysaccharides and physics chemistry of macromolecules. He is author or co-author of more than 21 peer-reviewed international publications, 7 book chapters, 65 communications in national and international congresses, editor of 5 book (INTECH-2013, Bentham-2017, CRC Press-2017, Omniscriptum-2017). He is a member of the Sociedad Argentina de Ciencia y TecnologÃa Ambiental and Asociación Argentina de FisicoquÃmica y QuÃmica Inorgánica. He is Editor in Chief and Founder in July 2013 of Journal of Polymer and Biopolymers Physics Chemistry, Science and Education Publishing. He is editorial board of numerous Journals.
